THE LIGHTS was written by Howard Korder, author of Boys' Life and Search and Destroy. Mark Wing-Davey, director of Mad Forest, directed the Atlantic Theater Company in a dark, theatrical, expressionistic vision of urban hell. This is Korder's most mature and poetic play, chronicling the spiritual homelessness of life in an unnamed big city where a young man and his girlfriend yearn for a better life and do not find it.
