Recent New York directing credits: Three Sisters and Uncle Vanya at CSC, Vieux Carré and Toys in the Attic at the Pearl, Fifty Words for MCC, Order by Chris Boal for Oberon and Lillian Yuralia by Barbara Eda-Young at La MaMa. Broadway directing credits: Spoils of War, John Gabriel Borkman, The Runner Stumbles, Shelter and The Little Foxes (Tony nomination). As an actor, recent appearances include Rosmersholm at the Pearl, Romulus Linney's Love Drunk and Bruce Robinson's Another Vermeer at the Abingdon; Wendy Kesselman's musical The Black Monk; and Mother Courage (with Meryl Streep) and Romeo and Juliet at the Delacorte. He apprenticed, acted and directed at the Williamstown Theatre Festival; is a member of the Ensemble at Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre; and teaches acting at HB Studio. Film/TV acting credits include over 100 movies, plus many appearances on "Homicide," "Oz" and "Law & Order." He has written three plays: Orson's Shadow, Uncle Bob and Booth, all produced internationally and in New York.
