A Message from André Bishop
I have decided to step down as Producing Artistic Director of Lincoln Center Theater as of June 2025 – two more seasons.
I’ve spent more than thirty years here at LCT, and those years were happy ones. I’m proud of the artists we’ve nurtured, the productions we’ve produced and our Education Program, the LCT Review and the Directors Lab. I’m especially proud of the creation of LCT3 and the building of the Claire Tow Theater.
It’s time for a new generation of artistic leadership to take LCT into the future. But I know LCT will remain a welcoming home for artists and a place where they can do their best work.
